Earlier this week I had a customer come up to the workshop from Holywood with a souvenir football scarf that he wanted framed. It was a 50/50 match scarf from the Manchester United v Liverpool game in September last year, he also wanted 4 photos of him and his son at the game to be included in the layout.
Being a Liverpool fan I agreed to do this through gritted teeth, specially bearing in mind Liverpool got gubbed 3-1 in the game.
Football being the funny old game that it is I couldn’t help but laugh when I read the text on the end of the scarf ‘Id rather walk alone’. Probably the way Louis Van Gaal felt at the end of the season lads!
